We had a lovely stay at Smile Place. The room was large and clean, and the price was really good. The staff were so kind and helped with everything from boat tour bookings to transfers. Couldn’t have been better!

For what I paid, I had a nice stay. The rooms are okay and don’t look bad, the wifi was fast, and the staff were always friendly. They cleaned the room daily, though the cleaning was average. Laundry came back quickly and washed well. They also offer cheap massages, with another 15% off for guests, and I rented a motorbike from them for an excellent price of 160bath. There are lots of restaurants nearby, nice bars by the beach for drinks, and a big 7/11 supermarket around the corner. Sala Dan is close too, where you can shop for souvenirs at the night market.

We still had a nice time, and the staff were great. The balcony was lovely, too. But the place is rundown and doesn’t seem maintained: the windowblinders were broken and the sink leaked onto the floor. They tried to fix the leak with toilet paper. We were in the room with blue door.

The rooms are modern in design, and some are like full apartments. It’s right next to Khlong Dao beach, which is really beautiful. Incredible value for money, I couldn’t recommend this place more.
