Blue View House Phi Phi

The view was amazing and worth what we paid, and the staff carried our luggage up and down. There are no lifts anywhere on the island, so making the climb several times a day was difficult. The bathroom water smelled funny, though apparently that's normal across the island because it's recycled, and it's completely safe. They provided two water bottles a day, which was sweet. When we had trouble with our laptop charger, they quickly gave us an adapter. Great view, and I'd book again.

Staying on level D gave us a great view on both sides of the island. The shower was good, the balcony was great, and the location just outside the village's hustle and bustle worked well. The staff were accommodating, though each trip up the stairs cost you about 90 kcal 😊. The room was very basic and not soundproof, and we heard loud music from beach parties every night into the early hours, echoing all the way up the hills. Our neighbors also woke us in the middle of the night with suspicious noises, and the wifi wasn't working while we were there, which was pretty annoying. We thought it was a bit expensive for what it offered, but it was high season and Phi Phi is expensive.

The view of the bay from our balcony was the best part of the stay, especially in the mornings and evenings. The room was simple but nice, and the air-conditioning worked very well. The reception staff were kind and welcoming, and even offered us umbrellas when it started raining. The bed wasn't very comfortable and creaked whenever we moved. There are also quite a lot of stairs up to the hotel. We didn't mind the climb, but it's something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Our room had a fantastic balcony view of both the beaches and the islands. The room itself was basic, and the remote location made it a quieter place to stay. We were on the top floor, level D, hundreds of steps up. The staff were lovely and carried our bags from the pier all the way to the room. One morning, work outside our room woke us up.
