Hangover Hostel

The location is peaceful and pleasant. There are two rooms with 10 beds each and a shared bathroom. When I went in October, the place was empty, with no guests. The bathroom was okay, and there’s no food service. In the evening there was no caretaker, and the water ran out. The bathroom had no water until morning, and there was no way to contact anyone.

The hostel has a nice outdoor hangout spot, and coffee and bananas are provided for breakfast. It’s in a great location away from the nightlife, so I could sleep properly. The dorm beds were comfortable and came with curtains, a lamp, and an outlet. The room and bathroom were cleaned often. One curtain was dirty when I arrived, but the woman who runs the hostel replaced it right away after I told her. The lockers are small, and the outside door doesn’t lock. That wasn’t a problem for us, though.

This is my favorite hostel in koh phi phi. It’s really affordable for backpackers, and the staff are helpful and speak good English. He gave me lots of recommendations around koh phi phi. The owner helped me out too when my credit card got blocked, though I don’t know why. She lent me cash so I could try diving there, she’s an angel. The rooms are clean and smell good, with cool AC, and everything is well managed. They also provide cookies, tea and coffee. It’s a small hostel, but you definitely won’t regret staying more than 3 nights. I love this pace and the hospitality.

I had a great experience here and would highly recommend the hostel. When I arrived in the afternoon, someone showed me to the room within seconds and I picked a bed. The 12-person room was quite spacious, though the closet was really small. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked smoothly. Shared toilets and the bathing area were always clean and available, and the staff were very kind. The location was perfectly fine. With the affordable price, it’s one of the good hostels I’ve stayed in.
