PP Mountain Beach Resort

The resort is peaceful and conveniently near attractions and restaurants, and the pool area is a nice place to relax. I especially liked the comfortable bed and the beautiful view from the room. It was clean and spacious, with modern but cozy interiors, and housekeeping kept everything spotless each day. The amenities were great too. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to help. Their friendly, professional manner made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. I had a wonderful time at PP Mountain Beach Resort and would love to return. The calm atmosphere, good facilities, and helpful staff made it memorable, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Phi Phi Island.

The resort is very quiet and clean, and I was really happy with my stay. There are several pools, including a nice one down by the beach, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. They picked me up at the pier and have free rides to town every hour, always on time. It takes about 10 minutes by car, but the resort isn’t near town. The free rides stop at 9:00 p.m., and there’s a charge after that. Walking there and back is technically possible, but it’s super difficult even if you’re very fit. The pricier rooms have much better views and are better maintained.

The room was the one good part of our stay: big and spacious, with a huge balcony. The water park pool that looked amazing when we booked was closed and under construction, and nobody mentioned that beforehand. The hotel did pick us up and take us back to the pier, but they broke my luggage handle while dropping me off, so now I have to carry it like a coolie for the rest of my trip. It’s a bit far from Phi Phi town and the beach. The last free shuttle leaves at 9 PM, when the fun has barely started, and morning service doesn’t begin until 8:15. For an early tour you’d need to pay 500 bhats for a one-way ride into town. We also had no phone in the room to contact reception; despite repeated requests, they never set one up. Since the rooms are up on a hill, we had to climb up and down to reception for anything we needed. Breakfast was just okay, with few options. For vegetarians, it was only bread, juice, and salad.

Getting around was easy thanks to an excellent shuttle, with rides to town, the beach, and ferry point every half hour. We also got a free room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel sits on a mountain and might seem far away at first, but they arrange a smooth, well-organized trip from the ferry point. Staff were exceptionally polite, helpful, and welcoming. Completely worth staying here, highly recommended.
