Tropical Garden Bungalow

A lovely experience, with very friendly people and polite staff. The rooms were very, very clean, and the swimming pool was clean and felt safe. It seemed safe for families too.

We left after a long discussion using Google Translate, but at least we got our money back. The trouble began before check-in, with confusion over payment, the room, communication, and a deposit that was higher than the amount listed online. When staff finally showed us a room, a man opened the door to a single bed where another guest was sleeping. He then disturbed that guest and started opening doors to other occupied rooms in the middle of the day. Staff apologized while laughing, then showed us a room we had never booked: a small one with a double bed and no air conditioning, instead of the larger room with two twin beds we paid for. They called it temporary when we objected. The whole service felt chaotic and very unprofessional. Don't book this.

The pool area gives the place a cool, unusual feel. Our room was okay, though it could really use a bathroom shelf and somewhere to hang or fold clothes.

The room was small, with no AC or toiletries. I paid $28 for a couple, so maybe the price is fair, but I can't recommend it. The woman at checkout was good, though the man at reception wasn't nice.
