Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai

During my six and a half weeks in Thailand, these were the nicest people I met. There are cats wandering around all the houses, each one cuter than the last. The rooms are nice and fairly priced, with AC, and they serve a different breakfast at your own little house every morning.

A clean, cosy place run by a really lovely family. They took good care of us, and breakfast was brought out to our terrace. We were there on Valentine's Day, and they even gave us sweet gifts for the occasion. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

The owners are really kind and lovely. There was a bit of a language barrier, as you'd expect, but they tried hard to communicate and it all worked out fine. They brought us delicious coconuts and fresh fruit, too. Our room was clean and very spacious, and the location on the island was great. We rented bikes at the port, though you can rent one here as well. You'll definitely need a bike to get around the island. I'd really recommend the place.

We had a very nice three-night stay, and the owner is the sweetest soul. She had a scooter ready when we arrived and helped us a lot with onward transport to Phuket. Her English isn't very good, but we communicated just fine. The cats were one of the highlights of our stay.
