9 Hornbills Tented Camp

We spent ages just looking out at the horizon from the private pool. The glamping setup is fantastic, with a breathtaking view. Even though the villas are away from reception, the team responds quickly and brings what you need. They contact you on WhatsApp, which works really well. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. A great retreat for a couple.

The restaurant is excellent and not especially expensive, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The tents are lovely too, with wood floors, beautiful furniture, a bathroom area, and a bed with mosquito protection and air conditioning. Outside, there’s a pool and a huge private view stretching over the water to the islands. I can’t imagine a better setting. If you think you need an Aman resort for this kind of luxury, give 9 Hornbills a thought. I can hardly say enough good things about this place.

The private pool made it hard to want to leave the tent. Hornbill’s view is fantastic, and the food, room service, and response time were all great. There were some jellyfish in the water, but later in the day they were gone and the water was clear, maybe because of the tide. The team were lovely and really did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Kop khun kap, and all the best.

We had an easy time getting to the beach or the other resort for dinner thanks to the buggy service. The food and staff, and the resort as a whole, were as good as we expected or better. The view from the private pool and yard outside the tent is amazing, with the local limestone islands right there. It’s a lovely place to relax, just as advertised.
