Kai Bae Beach Resort Koh Chang

The sunset here is the most beautiful in Koh Chang. The staff were kind and honest, too. I left some belongings behind without realizing it, and they contacted me, sent everything back, and I had it again within two days. Thank you!

The beach itself is lovely, but seeing this is awful and makes me not want to return. Stop the elephant cruelty! These elephants shouldn't be made to pose, do tricks, or lift people with their trunks. They also shouldn't be drinking seawater with its high salt content. They're kept on the beach for hours each day with chains around their necks, and prodded with what looks like a small pickaxe so they perform for tourists. Why is nobody speaking up about this? I've removed people's identities from the photos I posted, but this isn't acceptable. Please think twice before supporting it.

Walking the coastline was especially lovely. The beach is beautiful, and the scenery along the way feels peaceful and relaxing.

The peaceful feel here comes from the clean, uncrowded beach, and the clear, calm water is lovely for swimming or kayaking. The sunsets are stunning, too. There are cafes, bars, and resorts nearby, so it's easy to stay all day. A lovely place to unwind by the sea, whether you're a couple, a family, or on your own.
