Keeree Ele Hotel

The hot and cold water barely flowed, and you have to press the bathroom light switch hard to get the light on. If I can, this will be my last stay here. I won't return, and I'd tell friends and acquaintances to stay somewhere else.

The room smelled strongly of sewage from the bathroom, the phone had no reception, and the cleaning wasn't good. The reception staff were rude. They demanded almost 1,000 THB extra to wash a period stain from the bedsheet. The service was awful. The man and Thai women at reception seemed to be trying to scam us out of money, and threatened to call the police over my sister's period. Their reaction showed such a lack of understanding. I refused the charge, which I thought was ridiculous, and they told me to check out immediately even though it was only 11:30 AM. They even tried to come into our room and pressured us to leave right away. Be careful. This felt like a place built around money, not smiles. A period can apparently mean another hotel charge. First time and last time. We will NEVER come back to this SCAM PLACE. They need money that badly, lol.

The room was old and dirty, with cockroaches and a very bad smell, and they didn't clean it well. I stayed here before, but it has changed a lot. When I said I wanted to leave after the first night because of the smell and cockroaches, they refused to refund even half the money for the remaining days. I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but I hope it keeps other people from having the same experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

A good budget option, with a nice pool and a quiet room at the back overlooking the jungle. The room was a good size, the low beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a decent shower and hot water. The balcony was fine, but its furniture was tatty, though other rooms looked like they had new, nicer seating. It's not far from the beach, near the end of the main street, with bars and restaurants close by. The front rooms seem to have better balcony furniture, but they're beside a busy road. Pretty good value for the price.
