After three nights camping on a steep hillside and three more at a very social hostel, I paid twice as much to stay here. Having my own room in a fairly quiet area made it worthwhile. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and there’s plenty of good food within walking distance.

The owner is very friendly, but 1,400 Baht in February felt far too high for what you get. Around 600-800 Baht seems more reasonable. The rooms, or at least some of them, no longer seem to match the photos. The bathroom especially needs work: broken fittings, badly stained grout in places, and a showerhead that keeps falling from its holder. Very loud parties often happen right behind the bungalows. The TV seems to be there for the pictures, since I couldn’t get a clear signal on any channel. Motorbike parking is very limited, and cars have to be left off-site.

The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and fast internet worked well. It’s right by the beach. I’d stay here again.

Bedbugs in the mattress in room 6. Check underneath the sheets before sleeping. The owner should replace the mattress and disinfect the room.

I paid about $10 a day for a room without a fan, and got a good deal. It’s a handy spot for a budget traveler: an excellent, very cheap local restaurant is right behind it, with a 7-11 and gas station nearby. Bike rental and a good massage are about a minute away.
