What I appreciate most about Colorful Hut is the mix of community and privacy, the relaxed atmosphere, and the eco-friendly approach. There are free daily offerings such as yoga and other mindfulness and wellness courses, and I’ll be back. The simple huts have everything I need, including AC for hot days. You’re close to nature and get that tropical island feeling rather than staying in an isolated hotel complex. The beachside community space is open to use anytime. There’s a small shared kitchen where guests can make dinner and buy their own groceries and drinks, though you can also get food and drinks at the restaurant. The vegetarian food is delicious, and breakfast is awesome. The staff look after the grounds well, sweeping the whole area every morning and cleaning rooms if you ask. Reception is helpful, too. The resident dogs are friendly and relaxed, wandering around and playing with guests without being a bother.

Colorful Hut won us over. The staff were so kind that we felt like honorary members of their island family, and the shared kitchen was a treat, with free Thai teas, instant coffee, and coconut milk powder. We could borrow snorkeling gear for free, too. Our mornings began with yoga, then breakfast that might convince you vegan food can be life-changing. They even accommodated my gluten intolerance, and I got gluten-free coconut and banana pancakes. We did miss meat a little, don’t tell the tofu, and the coffee could be better, but everything else made up for it. Thanks for an unforgettable stay. We hugely recommend this little paradise!

I enjoyed it so much that I returned. The beachfront setting is quiet, and even though it’s around a 15-20 minute walk from the pier, I could hear the birds, frogs, and waves. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and I loved the breakfast and the yoga classes.

The rooms are simple, clean, and really cute, and the staff are incredible. It’s right by the beach, with a delicious breakfast and yoga each morning at a really good price. Massage parlours, cafes, shops, bike rentals, and thongsala pier are all within walking distance.

The people were so kind, and the food was the best part of our two-night stay. I had the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel or resort. We had a lovely time.
