Sunny sorted out transport so we could explore other beaches around the island, and Apple arranged both our ferry pickup and the transfer back after checkout. Sunny, Jack, and Apple were always smiling, helpful, and full of good recommendations. That kind of service really made the stay. Housekeeping kept our bungalow spotless and supplied fresh towels and toiletries all week. We spent 7 nights in Beachfront Deluxe Cottage #H19, right by the sand with incredible views. It felt private while still being close to everything, and I’d highly recommend it if it’s available. The pool area was beautiful, with modern, comfortable loungers and plenty of room. Long Bay Beach in front of the resort is stunning, and there are several good restaurants and beach bars a short walk along the sand. From arrival to checkout, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Long Bay Resort. If you want a beachfront place with excellent service and a laid-back feel on Koh Phangan, this is an easy recommendation. 🌴☀️

Haad Yao is a nice village, and its beach felt safe, clean, cosy, and beautiful. The staff were SUPER FRIENDLY, and it felt like home. The seaview cottages especially are amazing, with good beds and a good bathroom.

We chose a Garden hut at Long Bay Resort for our 3 days in Koh Phangan because we wanted somewhere small and cosy. There are bigger rooms, but we weren’t disappointed with our choice. It was clean and had everything we needed, including a spacious bathroom with its own geyser, so there was always hot water, as well as all the amenities. The staff were so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The beach is just a quick 30 second walk away, and the pool and restaurant area are absolutely exquisite. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The resort itself is beautiful, and the bungalows are kept very clean. But we had booked a beach front bungalow two weeks ahead, only to be told on arrival there was a problem with the booking system and given a Superior bungalow with garden view/pool view instead. They weren’t helpful and just said that was how it was, suggesting we could check out if we didn’t like it. Yeah right, the other places were booked out too. If I came back, I’d make sure I got the beach front one, and then I’d probably rate it 5 stars.

Sunny was especially helpful during our stay. We had a really good time at Long Bay Resort, with a clean room, convenient location, and lovely beach and pool. I’d come back and recommend the place to friends.
