The location is kind of nice, but the houses are pretty terrible. They’re cheaply built with no sound insulation, so it feels like living in tropical slums where everyone hears everything. There’s no aircon outside the bedroom, which really limits where you can spend time, and the terrace was always dusty from the back road. They’ve doubled the number of houses on the property, so it’s much more crowded now. For me, this is one of the worst ways to live on KPG. I’d avoid it unless you can rent it for 15k or something.

I’ve been here for 9 nights and it’s great. It’s not a hotel where everything is done for you, but there’s a broom and a kitchen, so that’s fine. The house looks nice inside and out, and it’s very quiet. Thong Sala isn’t too far away. The only thing missing is a pool, but the beach is close enough that it’s no problem. There’s a huge sandbank in the ocean just two minutes away, with epic views. A 7/11 is four minutes away, and there’s a great little Thai restaurant a minute away 😊

The new houses are lovely, and the owner is really kind and friendly. Make sure you have a motorcycle or car, then it’s a perfect place for quiet nights.
