Sandee Bungalows

I felt really safe here as a solo traveler, enough that I came back to Sandee after booking a cheaper bungalow elsewhere. The hosts were lovely, the place was clean, and the simple amenities were all I needed. It’s close to the beach but still private, with hammocks to relax in. They also let me check out late for an extra fee, which I appreciated. I’d recommend it to solo travelers or couples.

The garden is lovely, with butterflies around all the time, plus geckos and birds. The bungalows are clean and great value, tucked away from the main road but only a five-minute walk to the beach and just behind the local shopping street. The owners are very nice, the shower is good, and they can arrange a ride in their air-conditioned car. Excellent value for money.

Really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock in the evening. The hosts were super friendly and helped me arrange a ride back to the pier. It’s only a two-minute walk to the beach, with lots of nice places to eat nearby. Lovely little bungalows for a great price, highly recommend :)

The host was so friendly and helpful, especially with arranging affordable transport to other places. The laundry service was great too. I booked a fan bungalow for six nights. It’s older, but surprisingly clean and in good shape. It gets hot, so I was fine with the cold shower in the fan room. The air-conditioned rooms have hot showers. The beach is a one-minute walk away, and there’s a mini market and plenty of restaurants close by. Birds may sing early in the morning, as they do around the island, even at five-star hotels, but it’s quiet after midnight. I liked having a hammock to chill in. The area has a nice family and couples vibe, without feeling as touristy as the center. Fair-priced accommodation in a luxury area. 👍👍👍
