Seaview Rainbow

I found the rooms very dirty, with no sign of proper cleaning. I was worried I might get sick from what previous guests had left behind. When the landlord gets angry, he barks at people, and he doesn't handle criticism well. As a woman, I found the experience frightening. There are plenty of good bungalows to rent nearby, so avoid this place.

The beach is the one lovely part, with beautiful sunsets. The owner, though, kept shouting at people not to cross through the resort, even though the beach is public. I lived there for six weeks in 2019 and had friends stay there over the years. Whenever I came to visit them, I was shouted at and told to leave. It’s sad, because this would be a beautiful place to stay if the owner changed one day. I had an AC bungalow, but the air conditioning never worked properly. The Burmese staff were nice, though cleaning didn't seem to be a priority.

The best thing about our Fan Bungalow was how close it was to the ocean, about 20 meters away. The water came up to around waist height in the morning, then only to the knees later in the day. A real tropical getaway. The bungalow was clean and tidy when we arrived, with a hot shower, western-style toilet, mosquito net, and two porch hammocks for naps. There was a clothes rack for drying things too. My wife and I found it comfortable, though it got quite hot in the day and didn't cool off until after midnight.

I stayed in the old, very simple white bungalow with a fan. It had everything I needed, and the location was just too good. The staff are friendly, and you only have to ask when you need something 🤗 I appreciated that the owner doesn't let people cut through the property, since it gives guests more privacy. There are signs saying you can't pass through, so I don't get how people say the owner brings bad energy 😂 To the owner, could you share your WhatsApp number? I forgot to ask 🙏
