The Scenery Beach Resort

My room was resold, but the hotel refused to return my payment, so they were paid twice for the same room. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We'd happily stay here again. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the rooms were great, with a mini kitchen and hot water if we needed them. Some of the higher rooms have a beach view. It's far enough from Haad Rin's madness that you can't hear the club music, though depending on the room, road noise may carry.

The photos and ad wording left me feeling deceived, and for the price I'm very disappointed. The door stays ajar, which affects both security and keeping the air conditioning in. There's a kitchenette but nowhere to sit or eat at a table, so I hope you like having meals on the bed. I expected some quiet in a sea view room, but it was extremely loud. With such poor sealing, vehicles sound as if they're pulling up right beside you. At least there is a private bathroom, though the old, worn shower head didn't work properly.

Loved our stay. Paweena was a great host, and the views were beautiful, with a lovely sunset and an amazing morning view from the upper room. Some people mentioned a lack of privacy, but the window glass has a privacy film, so no one can really see inside. Our room was clean and had all the kitchen utensils we needed to prepare meals for two.
