Villa Cha Cha Salad Beach Koh Phangan

We only booked two nights at first, but after arriving we didn't want to leave and stayed five more days. The rooms are big, there's a nice pool, and the view of the beach is stunning. It's a bit far from the main area, though getting around by motorcycle is quick. The value for the money is extraordinary.

The whole complex feels run-down, with things untidy and broken wherever you look. The room was dirty and smelled of mold, and when we raised it, the staff's answer was to put in a scented candle. There were animals like rats on the bungalow roof, too. The owner seems not to care about improving the place and just lets it go as long as guests keep coming. If you have any other option, don't stay here.

We booked three nights and ended up staying seven 😅 The staff were friendly, the rooms were big, and it was kid friendly. You can get what you need at the resort, though cheaper, more authentic food is just a five to ten-minute walk away, either along the beach or around the road. The hotel restaurant costs more but tastes good. There's a diving shop only three minutes from the hotel.

The front desk lady yelled at me and said I made her crazy just because I asked if a room was available after making a mistake in my search. I was being kind and respectful, so that rude reaction was completely unnecessary. Don't give them your money.
