Banpak Phusuay

It’s peaceful, clean, and beautifully surrounded by nature. Pai’s noise and crowds feel far away, yet everything is only a five-minute walk. A good fit if you want quiet without feeling isolated, and the people are warm and friendly.

I had an incredible stay, and I especially want to mention the mother cat who often lounges in the garden. She’s sweet and polite, and loves attention. She seems hungry a lot because she’s feeding her kittens. If you can, share a little food with her, or pick up cat food at 7-11 for just 18 baht.

After changing rooms, I had a pleasant stay. The price difference between a single and double is only 50B, but the singles are tiny, old, very noisy, and not very nice. The doubles are like tiny houses and are really lovely. I stayed in both without realizing at first, and the difference is huge. Get a double. The place is chill, relatively quiet, affordable, and well located. A scooter is a must in Pai, as it is everywhere here.

The spot itself is lovely and very peaceful. It’s a little outside town, so the only noise at night was from drunk tourists riding their scooters home. The people running the place are awesome, two very nice Russian ladies and a Thai dude. The bungalows are older, with some wood starting to shrink, and there were a few bugs at times. There’s a nice mosquito net over the bed. For the price, I thought they could have been appointed a bit better.
