Avoid buying 'sleeper' bus tickets from this place. My ticket was supposed to start with a minivan and then transfer to a sleeper bus, but that transfer never happened. I spent 27 hours travelling in the minivan and got no refund or anything. They said there weren't enough passengers to make the sleeper worthwhile. In that case, they shouldn't have sold me a sleeper ticket from here. It was the worst bus or van I've taken in Asia. I think there are signs across the road advertising it as a green bus station or something. You can't trust them.

There's no social atmosphere, so it suits you best if you've already made friends in Pai. The rooms are small, but have working a/c, clean en suite bathrooms and a towel included. Amazing location, and everything you need.

The room smelled of sour milk, and there was no sink in my room or in the shared bathroom and showers. The mattresses were so old they were falling apart, and the wool blanket looked like something I hadn't seen anywhere since 1984. The decor was circa 1970. Padlocks on the doors? A token trampoline and plastic pool to make the place feel good? No, no, no!

The owner is so lovely and kind, and it's a great spot to relax and sunbathe during the day. It's on a quiet street just off the main centre, only a two-minute walk from the bars and food stalls. But the breakfast is the real star: absolutely incredible food for the price, one of the best breakfast places in pai and amazing value. An amazing experience all around, 10/10, couldn't recommend it more.

The staff are super nice, and the breakfast here is excellent. You can stay in the hostel or just drop in to eat. It's literally a one-minute walk from the bus station and 30 seconds from Walking St. I'll definitely be back!
