The downstairs restaurant serves food that's restaurant quality at a good price, and the place itself was quiet. Rooms were simple and nice. The owner is a man from uk who built it 30 years ago and has stayed there ever since. Absolutely recommend it, I had a great stay.

The room was fairly clean, and the place is close to the beach area. We still had a nice stay. There were lots of mosquitoes, though, probably because it had rained the day before we arrived, so bring repellent if you stay here.

Between Ao Prao and Ao Phai beaches, the hotel is in a peaceful, convenient spot. The owner was kind and attentive, and the room had the basics we needed, including clean sheets, towels, hand soap, and drinking water. The on-site restaurant worked well for family gatherings.

The room had AC, and one staff member was very helpful despite not speaking English. The location is handy, 150 meters from Ao Phai beach and 1km from the amazing, much better Ao Prao beach. But the rooms were extremely dirty and far too expensive for that condition. The place looked like a lost resort that hadn't been cleaned in years. We stayed four nights, and they didn't empty the bins, clean the rooms, or change our towels once.

A handy budget base for a group spending a weekend on beautiful Koh Samed. The rooms were tidy and clean, with Aircon and decent bathrooms. It's only a short walk to the beach. It's not the Hilton, but it worked really well for us.
