The photos say it all. Even with modest expectations, what I got through the booking agent was disappointing 🤯 The only good things were being by the ocean and near the pier. Staff weren’t friendly at all. There are plenty of other places that are better and actually ready to welcome guests 🙃

The view was the best part, and the price made it even better. I stayed for two days in December at this lovely place. It's close to the dock, so you might hear some noise, but the scenery is hard to beat.

The pier gets busy during the day, but nights are really quiet here. I stayed five days in an oceanfront room with a lovely view, and there was no road noise.

Right by the pier, but surprisingly peaceful at Sunrise, especially early in the day. I had a fantastic stay, and the view is hard to beat. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Koh Samet!

It's a lovely spot right by the water. Before booking, though, check your room number. I wouldn't choose 13 or higher because those rooms face the pier and you may hear the boats.
