Adarin Beach Resort Hotel

We left after the third night, despite having booked seven. The bed was hard, just wooden slats with no springs, and our beachfront villa felt cramped. There wasn't even a trash can or a table for our glasses and keys, and our suitcase had to stay on the floor. Breakfast was bad, especially the terrible coffee and bread. We tried for three days to speak with the manager about leaving early, but nobody listened or helped. Reception kept saying the manager was busy, and the receptionist couldn't make a decision. If the hotel had contacted Booking.com, they could have refunded the nights we weren't staying, but no one did anything. A place to avoid!

This is an old resort with very few staff and none of the basic amenities you'd expect for what you pay, so I wouldn't recommend it, especially after spending so much on flights. The only thing going for it is the location, which you can find elsewhere in Samui. They put us in one of their oldest rooms, with a small king bed and a toilet in very bad condition, including old tiles and cockroaches. Breakfast was nowhere near good enough.

We had a good experience at Adarin beach resort, right by the beach. There's a small swimming pool, and the staff are very friendly and happy to help however they can.

The staff were good and the location was perfect, but we had serious problems in two rooms. My mom and I had booked rooms 905 and 903. We found cockroaches in 905. In 903, more than 20 bees got in at 5 am, and over 10 more were waiting outside my room door, trying to enter. There was nobody at reception, so my mom killed them with spray she bought at 7/11, and then I left. The staff changed my room, but when I politely asked for a refund for just the affected night, they refused. See photos. The rest was very good.
