Celebrity Ocean View Villa

There is loads of space inside the house, and the terrace is wonderful. The location is ideal, and Franco is a lovely host who can suggest trips and places around the island. The villa gets cleaned daily, and laundry is available too. Everything was perfect.

Our hosts were great, particularly with arranging transfers, taxis, and motorbike rentals. The location is good, the home has the equipment you'd expect, and the surroundings are quiet. There's a small pool on the rooftop terrace, a great place to spend late evenings. The house rules are fair: no outside guests or loud parties, and smoking is allowed outside the apartments.

Franco gave us the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. We were in Koh Samui for two weeks for a family reunion after 16 years apart, and finding the right villa and host mattered a lot. The place and care we received went beyond what we'd hoped for. The villa is a short walk from two temples and has an ocean view, a rooftop pool, and a lovely sunset lounge. It is also quiet and only minutes from the airport. The decor includes local art, hardwood floors, and plenty of natural light. Sliding doors let the plumeria scent in, there were few insects, and the outdoor shower was incredible. Franco checked in on us almost every day and helped arrange two excursions, the jeep safari and national marine park. He sent us off in the morning, explained what to bring, and both trips were fabulous. He learned everyone's names, replaced our creamer right away, got the grill going when we struggled with it, and recommended great local restaurants. He gave us privacy while staying easy to reach. The arrival was stress-free because Franco arranged a driver using our flight details and adjusted the pickup when our flight was delayed. When we arrived, the villa was presented beautifully, with open doors, fresh flowers, a breeze, and soft jazz. Our housekeeper came daily to make beds, clean bathrooms, take out rubbish, mop, and do the dishes. The place stayed fresh even without the AC running. Once, she brought our clothes in from the deck ahead of a rainstorm and folded them so they wouldn't get wet. Franco clearly explained the house rules, including turning off lights and AC when leaving a room, no shoes indoors, no flushing toilet paper, and no parties. He kept our backup water topped up for our family of six, which meant we didn't have to worry about running out, something that can happen on the island. Power issues meant we sometimes had to reset the hot water breaker under a sink, but that felt like something to adjust to with island life. At checkout, Franco had a van ready at 5 a.m. and came to see us off. All we had to do was grab our bags. Thank you, Franco!

The rooftop terrace became our favorite place, with its panoramic 180-degree ocean view. We spent time up there both morning and evening, and it was unforgettable. Celebrity Ocean View Villa was a highlight of our trip, in a location close to everything. The house felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was spotless and thoughtfully cared for, with distinctive art, lots of plants, and beautiful decor. Franco made the stay especially easy. He was genuinely kind and service-minded, and helped arrange tours, transport, and anything else we needed. We left with great memories and are already looking forward to coming back.
