Celes Samui

The beachfront is beautiful, and although the resort sits on a very busy road, it feels insulated from the traffic once you're inside. The location is good. Pools are lovely, and the bar and restaurant have a nice view, good cocktails, and a reasonably priced happy hour. The pizza was unusual but decent, and breakfast had a very good spread. Our room was large and well kept. Staff were friendly, but service was painfully slow. Pre-check-in took about half an hour, and collecting the keys after finalizing check-in took even longer. There was no queue management, so people who arrived later were checked in first while we were told to sit and wait. That was frustrating on a one-night stay.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. We had a small problem with the door, but the staff sorted it out quickly and professionally, without disrupting our trip. They made the whole thing easy and stress-free. We had a lovely stay and would happily return. 🤍

The hotel is beautiful, with a great pool, excellent food, and friendly, professional service. Our room was clean and well maintained. The Premium Villa was comfortable, although it didn't have a particular view. The biggest disappointment was the beach. There was lots of rubbish on the sand and floating in the water, so swimming wasn't possible. Worse, I saw hotel staff sweeping rubbish back into the sea instead of collecting it. That's troubling when hotels promote sustainability by limiting towel and linen changes, while pollution remains on their own beachfront. New Year's Eve was another letdown. The event cost a very high amount for what was included: good food, but very weak entertainment, with no drinks at all, not even water or a glass of champagne. Everything else had to be bought separately, bringing it to around 8,000 THB per person. Our expectations were much higher at that price, especially as similar events at other hotels were free for guests. Many people left during the evening. If you're visiting outside New Year's Eve or other special events and mostly want to relax by the pool, this could be a good choice.

We were a group of 24 and stayed nine nights at Celes Samui. Rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very clean. The hotel feels modern but has plenty of green areas, which made it comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety. Everything went smoothly from the start. Navaporn handled the offers, agreements, and vacation preparations with great patience, answering all our questions. On arrival, Noi took care of us with such kindness. Whenever an issue came up, the staff sorted it out. It's hard to please 24 people, but everyone ended up calling it their best vacation. We highly recommend staying at Celes.
