Chaweng Buri Resort

We loved Chaweng Buri Resort and will definitely come back. It has beautiful surroundings and amazing beach access, with a vibe that’s peaceful but still lively. Kris at reception deserves a special mention. His warm, professional hospitality and extra effort made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Highly recommend it for a stay in Chaweng.

The room was a disappointment in several ways. It had little natural light and felt dark during the day, the bathroom was outdated and poorly maintained, and noise from passing aircraft made it very hard to rest. The worst part, though, was finding a cockroach inside my pillow. That was disgusting and left me feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. It’s a serious hygiene issue, not a minor inconvenience. I was also disappointed by how staff and management handled the complaint. I expected them to take it seriously, act professionally, and try to resolve it. Instead, I was offered complimentary transport worth only a few euros, which felt insulting given what had happened. The manager didn’t acknowledge the seriousness or offer a meaningful solution. I felt they just wanted the matter to go away. When I kept asking for a proper resolution, I was told their latest response would be their “final response.” It did nothing to address the problems or compensate for the room, the noise, or the cockroach. Ending the conversation that way felt like avoiding responsibility, not customer service. This stay was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had and has left me deeply dissatisfied with both the hygiene and the way my complaint was managed. I hope the hotel improves both, and responds to the issues I’ve raised rather than dismissing them.

The calm, inviting dining area made breakfast a relaxed and refined start to the day, and it suited the resort’s atmosphere. At Chaweng Buri Resort, the spread was generous and balanced, with fresh fruit, crisp salads, yogurt, cheese, and baked goods presented neatly. The Thai options were a particular highlight, offering local flavors alongside international dishes. Food quality stayed high, and everything was replenished and kept in good order throughout service. Breakfast really added to our stay 🥰😊😊😊😊.

The beach service was excellent, with a friendly team that made it easy to relax by the sea. The location is great, and we’ll definitely return. At Chaweng Buri Resort, the 400B breakfast buffet is the best value on the island, especially with its huge range of fresh seasonal fruits. The restaurant menu is unique and delicious. Every meal we had was “very taste” and beautifully presented.
