I’ve just finished a 10-day yoga retreat at Samahita Retreat, and it was a deeply enriching experience. What I’ll remember most is the kindness and sincerity of the Thai staff, which felt heartfelt and genuine rather than simply part of a service. The place gave my body, mind, and soul a chance to reset, and I hope to return one day. The team’s dedication and spirit were remarkable. From thoughtful leadership and smooth organization to inspiring yoga and sports sessions, everything was handled with care and professionalism. They worked tirelessly to keep the retreat clean, calm, and welcoming. I’m also grateful to the people behind the scenes in housekeeping, maintenance, the kitchen, and support roles, including those whose names I may have missed. Their work is felt every day. My heartfelt thanks to Pui, Pia, Noon, Khong, Nueng, Yun, Mark, Fong, Bo, Airbus, So, Gill, Daniel, Shir, Emilia, and Kirsten, and to the whole team for creating such a special place.

A lovely, calming retreat right by the beach in a quiet area. There’s plenty to choose from, including fitness, yoga, meditation, massages, and different classes, or you can simply relax. The staff were wonderful and caring, always there to help, and the teachers and guides were great. My room felt just like home and had a balcony, so I was even able to unpack. I’d absolutely recommend it and hope to come back.

I stayed for four weeks to unwind and follow my own inner journey, and I really appreciated being free to join classes or skip them. It was a life-changing experience for me, one I’d gladly repeat and strongly recommend. I can’t relate to some of the less positive reviews I’d read beforehand. The people are incredibly kind, the atmosphere feels magical, and the food is healthy and nourishing. The setting is breathtaking, too. I stayed in one of the top front beach houses, which I think are the resort’s most beautiful accommodations and would highly recommend.

Heavenly and so peaceful, with AMAZING food and calming sunrises. The bedsheets were pristine, the massages fantastic, and the staff lovely and accommodating. There are a few quiet beach bars nearby. I’d come back for another bit of peace and a physical and mental reset.
