I only stayed one night because my other hostel was fully booked. The room was spacious, the bedspreads were funky, and there’s a rooftop. It’s very cheap, well located, and quiet since it’s away from a busy street. On the downside, there’s a hefty refundable deposit of THB 500, and the bathroom is very old. There’s only one bathroom for the two dorms. Coffee is expensive, the rooftop WiFi didn’t work, and reception is only open during standard hours.

For 169 baht, this is decent value for what you’d expect from an air-conditioned dorm. The staff were nice, too. I’d forgotten my key after the door was locked at 8 pm, but they came and let me in. Bring your own toilet paper, and don’t count on hot water. Getting a good mattress depends on arriving before the others. The phone number on Booking is wrong, so look it up on Facebook.
