I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The place has old world charm, the staff were lovely, and the aircon was great. We came back to a cool room each time. It’s close to everything we needed and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. We drove and used the safe paid parking lot across the street. We were told the hotel would close for a year of renovations starting in May 2019, with plans for a complete makeover and a rooftop outdoor pool. At the time, there was a hot tub and sauna on the ground floor but no pool. Still, with the beach so near, we didn’t miss having one. I’d highly recommend Kata Minta Hotel!

The rooms are large and the beach is conveniently close. It’s a simple place, with a basic breakfast and no safe in the room, but the staff were great. Mr. An, Ana, and Min were all friendly, kind, and really helpful. A good choice if you want a Thai experience.

The property is dated, but the location near the beach is outstanding. The staff were wonderful. Joe, the manager, was friendly and very helpful, and Ann seemed to work around the clock taking care of guests. I’ll miss them both. Ann deserves a raise, she has such a helpful attitude.

Clean and friendly, and awesome value for money. I use this place regularly when I’m doing study segments. The WiFi is great, the staff are incredibly helpful, and there’s even a little pool in the basement.

The standout here was the lone staff member. He was so warm and helpful, he really deserves praise and a raise!
