True Siam Phayathai Hotel - SHA Extra Plus Certified

I was there for six nights in December 2024 and had no cons. The location was very convenient, near both the BTS Skytrain and Airport Rail Link. My room was clean and spacious, with a fridge and kettle, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good too.

The road on the Phayathai side was under construction, and we hadn't been told in advance, which was bad luck for us. The place is nicely renovated, the staff are polite, and the buffet breakfast is delicious. It's budget friendly and family friendly. There are two BTS stations nearby, but Victory Monument is the closest and easiest, and you could call it a three-star place.

The rooms were pleasant, and the staff were really friendly. Phaya thai station is about a 12-minute walk away, though during my visit street works made the route into the hotel awkward and the neighborhood noisy. There are plenty of food vendors on the street, plus a 7-eleven about six or seven minutes away on foot. Breakfast had limited choices, but it was enough. I had a good stay.

You’re just a few steps from the airport train, which is handy. Sound carries through the laminate floors, though, so scraping chairs and other activity can be noisy. If that bothers you, ask for a top-floor room when booking online.
