Some staff were genuinely kind and helpful, but others came across as abrupt and unprofessional. The receptionist in particular was rude, which coloured both arrival and departure. The worst part came at checkout, when it took a full hour to get my passport back. It was stressful and made us late for our flight. The room itself was grubby and clearly needed maintenance. Fixtures looked worn, the surfaces hadn't been cleaned properly, and it felt like basic upkeep had been neglected. Bedding and towels were thin and worn, which made things less comfortable. The air conditioning was so noisy that sleeping was difficult. The Wi-Fi was very poor. It failed completely about a quarter of the time, and when it worked it was slow and unreliable. That made it hard to plan travel, arrange transport, or get any work done online. The location was inconvenient too, with shops, restaurants, and attractions too far to reach easily on foot. You'll need a scooter or to rely heavily on taxis. The price was low, and you get what you pay for. It might work for someone wanting a very cheap, basic stay who can compromise on comfort, maintenance, service, and internet. For anything beyond that, keep your expectations in check.

It’s so peaceful and tucked away here, even though Chaweng Beach is only about 15 minutes off. Hire a scooter at reception and you can get around easily. Really loved the place.

The room was roomy and spotless, and the bathtub was clean too. The water pressure was strong. A really nice place.

I wouldn’t come back here. The owner was friendly and even picked me up, but that doesn’t make this a well-run hotel. It used to be a condo, and with the owner living on site, it feels like they don’t know how to manage it as a hotel. Rooms weren’t cleaned unless you went downstairs and asked. They were stingy even with toilet paper, and the whole place needs a deep clean. Ants marched through the kitchen day and night. The pool seats and covers were so moldy that nobody seemed willing to use them. It was all obvious, but nobody cared.

The neighborhood was quiet, and it’s not too far from the central beach by motorcycle. Our apartment had plenty of space, with a kitchen, bedroom, and a large bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. The host and staff were really friendly and helped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and we could ask for whatever we wanted to eat. Highly recommended!
