I went in June and it was quiet, which I liked. The sea here is a bit rockier than at the other island resort where I stayed before. The sea-view room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony for watching the sunrise. Service was spectacular, and the food on site was good enough that we didn’t always feel like going elsewhere. I also liked being able to walk to the room without needing a buggy. I’ve stayed at other resorts on the island, but Kimpton is good value and somewhere I’d happily return to.

Breakfast had a great variety, and the staff were so welcoming. Chef Deepak and the rest of the team did a great job with breakfast and the other events. Poolside service was quick too, and the complimentary evening refreshments were a highlight. We spent four memorable nights here. It’s a beautiful spot with an infinity pool and beach access. Would love to come back 🙏🏼

The service was the best I’ve experienced at a hotel. Staff kept remembering my name and seemed eager to prevent even the smallest inconvenience. The kindness, attention and little details were consistently above and beyond. I really appreciate and respect the team and their attitude. It’s a very peaceful place, and the restaurants on site are great, including one that’s Michelin recommended. Don’t come expecting a party, especially in low season. It’s also a little out of the way from the busier areas, which some people may prefer. I don’t, but that felt like a reasonable trade for this experience. I booked through chase the edit and got an upgrade, a $100 credit and four drink vouchers through my ihg status.

The resort is away from the rukus of the city, but I was happy spending the whole day there. I’d recommend it for solo or family travel. The service was impeccable, the rooms spacious and modern, and the huge bath tube was amazing. The pool was pristine, and breakfast was generous, with different à la carte options I really enjoyed.

The location is quiet and suited us for a relaxing break, though it’s still a short drive to other parts of Koh Samui. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful, with attentive service that never felt like too much. We stayed in a pool access suite. It was spacious, clean, modern and quiet, and stepping straight from the room to the pool made the stay feel special and relaxed. The resort is beautiful and well maintained, with large inviting pool areas and a calm, upscale feel. We’d definitely consider coming back for the comfort, privacy and easy pool access.
