The beach surprised us, it ended up being our favourite on Koh Samui. It was almost empty, with water that gets deep right away, no rocks, and no need for water shoes. There’s a bar/restaurant just beside it with clean toilets. The nearby area is quiet, with fewer options, but what you need is within a 10-15 minute walk. We stayed in the cute little beach house #212 right by the sea and were very happy with it. Breakfast was included and perfectly fine. The pier for boats to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao is a short walk away, handy since we spent a few days on Koh Tao. We barely noticed the boats. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this family-oriented hotel was perfect, and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with local and traditional dishes, fruit salad, filtered coffee, and eggs cooked in different styles. The gardens and greenery were beautiful and well maintained, and the pleasant traditional oriental style ran through the property. The pool was clean and a good size, with plenty of sun loungers by it and on the beach. We had a Bungalow Deluxe. It was simple and not very big, but clean, well equipped, cosy, and enough for our needs. The spacious veranda and complimentary coffee were nice touches. There are bungalows in different sizes and with different amenities. The hotel is right on a calm, clean beach with clear water. We weren’t bothered by the ferry traffic across from Pralarn Pier. It’s a quiet area with plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants and bars nearby, plus minimarts, massage parlors, and laundry service. Comfortable family accommodation and good value.

I stayed for 10 nights in a very quiet, pleasant area, though there’s little to do nearby apart from several reasonably priced restaurants. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. My villa with a private pool was spacious and good, but it needs renovation. The houses were clean. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day. Still, it’s an interesting place at a reasonable price.

The bungalow had a great view, plenty of space, and a large bathroom, but I deeply regret booking this resort. The price was premium, yet the experience felt like poor quality for the money. The online photos flatter the property. It advertises as SHA Extra Plus, but to me it didn’t even match many three-star hotels I’ve stayed in, and I question whether it deserves two stars. I wouldn’t recommend it or return. When my taxi dropped me off, my suitcases were left in front of the hotel and nobody greeted me. I waited about 15 minutes, then went to reception, where I waited again before a staff member eventually helped. Check-in felt robotic, with forms to sign and a beachfront room 123 assigned. A golf cart took me to the bungalow. Inside, it took a while to find the electricity key slot, hidden behind the curtains. I couldn’t get a cappuccino with almond milk, oat milk, or any alternative. Since I’m intolerant to milk products, I called reception, but that didn’t help. Breakfast was extremely disappointing: when I arrived, there were only leftovers and scraps, and the containers and surrounding areas were greasy. Cleaning was so-so. Beyond the bed being made, I didn’t notice much difference. The curtains left grease on my hands, the tables and seating were greasy, and the terrace was dirty. The beach looks nice, but the resort is right beside Lamprayah High Speed Ferries. Gasoline fumes frequently drift to the beach bungalows, pool, and restaurant. The ferry port is only about 50 meters from my bungalow and roughly 10 meters from the restaurant. The fumes made me feel pressure and headaches. Whenever I smoked, the constant gasoline smell made it feel like sitting on a ticking “beach bomb.” Eating or drinking there felt like taking in gasoline with every bite and sip. Disgusting. Ferry motors also caused constant noise and deep rumbling, for hours every morning and through most of the day. The nearby shopping and restaurants weren’t worth trying unless you wanted a bad stomach for the rest of your holiday.

We spent five nights in a deluxe bungalow, and the beachfront setting was nice. But at the high-season price, it didn’t feel like good value. The online photos made the bungalows look modern, while ours seemed dated and run-down. There were no opaque curtains, so the early morning sun woke us every day. There were lots of families with young children. That was fine for us, though it may not suit couples after a quieter stay. Breakfast had limited choices. It was okay for the first couple of days, then became repetitive and uninspiring. The shoreline itself wasn’t very appealing, with a lot of debris and pollution, and the nearby speedboat pier didn’t help the view. For what we paid, the value was disappointing.
