Hyatt Regency Koh Samui - SHA Extra Plus

We spent 4 nights at Melati Resort with our 2 kids and absolutely loved it. Everyone was genuinely warm and kind, and the staff made us feel welcome all the way through. The peaceful setting, lush gardens, thoughtful design, and sense of space made it feel like a little tropical escape. Our spacious villa had a private pool, a real luxury for family time and unwinding. There’s a small, lovely kids’ club by the pool, which made it easy to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We also enjoyed the beach pool with its swim-up bar and the different dinner themes. A private beach dinner was a special treat, and the spa was amazing. We had one of our best massages there. The resort sits on a quiet stretch of beach that feels almost private. For a change of scenery, Choeng Mon Beach is a short scooter or taxi ride away, with some great beach restaurants. Right beside the resort, there’s also a small local spot on the beach for simple Thai dishes, ice cream, or a massage. A beautiful, luxurious, family-friendly place for a peaceful stay with a bit of everything.

The location made it easy to get around, while nights stayed quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and varied every morning, with fresh ingredients and plenty to choose from. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, and housekeeping did a thorough, consistent job each day. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and bar teams, was kind, professional, and ready to help with a smile. They made me feel genuinely welcome. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’ll definitely return. Highly recommended!

The gardens felt like a little paradise, and both restaurants served absolutely delicious food. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay special and memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we're already excited to return. EB

The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, from bathroom facilities and wardrobes to board games. Breakfast had something for everyone, with different dishes on different days. The homemade bread, caramel sauce, and other items added a nice touch. We also enjoyed everything from Thai food to English fish and chips. From arrival by taxi through checkout, the staff were so helpful and welcoming that we felt like part of a family rather than guests with room numbers. I've travelled in many countries, and I'd readily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui. It does cost a bit more than other hotels, but we didn't mind given the experience. A couple of days after checking out, we returned for a lovely dinner, and the staff remembered us and welcomed us back warmly. Thank you!
