The quiet was a big part of why I loved staying at Moonhut Bungalows. There aren't any nightclubs nearby, and the bungalows sit beneath the trees just a few steps from lovely Maenam beach. I went in June, when the water was clear and the beach was very clean. My air-conditioned hut was comfortable, and Jane and her team made me feel welcome. I'd happily recommend it and will definitely return.

We ate at the moonhut restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and the food was gorgeous. The staff there were lovely too. We had a really relaxing five-night stay right by a beautiful beach, with kind staff who went out of their way to help. Our beach hut had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

We left and booked another hotel because the room itself wasn't up to standard, and the water and electricity were going to be off for the whole day. We were staying for two days, and nobody warned us beforehand even though they knew. The hotel didn't provide water or another option, and barely apologized. I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else.

Jane was fantastic, really helpful and accommodating. The place feels like you have a private beach, and it was good value. It's also well located, near some nice restaurants and a very small night market.

The beach huts are comfortable and right by the sea. Staff were so friendly and the service was fantastic. They even have massage service where you can listen to the waves. I'll definitely be back.
