Nantra Chaweng Beach Samui

There’s a nightclub right behind the hostel, and the music runs from 10pm to 4am every night. It’s so loud that the walls shake and the rooms vibrate, I really wish I were exaggerating. If that doesn’t bother you, the location is great, right in central Chaweng near everything and the beach. The dorms and beds were spacious and clean, and the bathrooms were cleaned daily, though at odd times and not as thoroughly as they could be. The pool area might have been lovely, but the water was murky brown, and I didn’t see anyone swim while I was there. Staff seemed unbothered and less attentive than at other hostels I’ve stayed in. It wasn’t particularly social, though we did meet a few nice people. Just an okay hostel, and I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Khin and the staff are so sweet and will help with whatever you need. The rooms are really spacious, with curtains for full privacy. The location is right in the middle of Chaweng. I stayed for a week and will come back :)

The club is the only real downside. It’s loud from 10-4, and the room shakes a bit, so I might not return for that reason. If you’re a deep sleeper who isn’t bothered by noise, though, this place is pretty ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were really nice for the price, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a hostel.

The private room was huge, clean, cozy, and cheap, and the place itself was perfect. The woman at reception was incredibly nice and helpful, and the service was amazing. Just be aware that nights are very loud, both from the club next door and from the airport. I slept with earplugs and managed to fall asleep, but at first it felt impossible😅
