P10 Samui

The place is modern-looking, clean, spacious, and well located near lots of massage places and restaurants at different price points. The wifi works well too. Jordan, the current receptionist and main attendant, speaks well and has been extremely helpful. He told me that during my month-long stay he'd be available any time of day if something happened, since he lives on site. I'd highly recommend staying here in Samui, for a short visit or a longer one. You could stop by to see it in person, and I'm sure Jordan can help find a room that suits you.

The room was lovely, with a lounge, bathroom, and pool access downstairs, plus a bedroom and second bathroom upstairs. The stairs between floors were very slippery. The pool looked nice from a distance, but it was very dirty and poorly maintained.

**Warning, abusive and threatening staff and management** After I left a bad review about the hotel's poor service with my personal belongings, which needed to be returned by post, management refused to help beyond putting a label on a package I couldn't arrange to collect. For three weeks I tried to get someone to send it as part of their normal postal and admin duties. Eventually I tried to collect it myself, but there are no collections on Samui because, as I was told, "this is Thailand". Rather than address the service complaint, they accused me of being a "scammer" and of never having stayed at the hotel. I've also been threatened, and the petty management or owners destroyed my valuable property. I don't trust them with guests' safety or belongings. They don't seem to believe in service or doing the right thing, and the staff are poorly trained. To me, that comes from toxic leadership that thinks the public shouldn't post bad reviews about poor service. I even offered to pay people to return my things, but they were "too busy" or couldn't understand basic service and decency. At any other hotel in the world, staff would handle this simple, normal task for a current or former guest. The hotel calls itself a 3 star hotel, but even a basic 3 star hotel offers ordinary desk and concierge help. I'd call this a 1 star hostel style lodging, and I'd look elsewhere if you need basic services. I hope they learn how to respond professionally in future. There's plenty of room for improvement, because their capability and service are rock bottom.

I stayed here with my brother and we had a very good time. The owner was lovely and friendly, the service was good, and the hotel's location was amazing. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and the pier is only a one minute walk away, making it easy to get to ko pangan.
