Pearl of Samui Resort

Villa 10 was spotless and had everything we needed. The beachfront setting is very peaceful, and Lamai’s night market and restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away. Ann and her team run a great place, with a restaurant right onsite. I’d highly recommend it.

The villas are great, and I really like the pool. The location is very good, though the main street can get a bit loud at night. It’s always well looked after here, and I feel welcome every time. I’ll definitely stay again, thanks!

Pearl of Samui really is a pearl. We were a family of four and ended up extending our three-night stay, which meant we got to move into a lovely family villa facing the sea. The cottages are beautiful and sit along the north side of Lamai Beach, which isn’t the best stretch of beach, but Lamai’s center and southern end are easy to reach, either with a five-minute drive or a 15-30 minute walk depending where you’re going. The pool was clean and lovely after full days at the beach. Lamai center and the night market are about 10-15 minutes away on foot. Even though it’s near the main road, the rooms were quiet at night and we didn’t hear traffic. Our host gave us a very warm welcome and some helpful island tips. Everything looked like the pictures. We stayed after Railay and before heading to Koh Tao, and would come back if we visit Samui again.

The ocean view from the pool is lovely, and the pool itself is great. We only wish we’d known that at low tide you can’t swim in the sea right in front of the resort, so you have to walk farther down the beach. Apart from that, it was perfect: the rooms were amazing, everything was clean and organized, and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
