Our December and New Year’s stay at Royal Living Koh Samui felt more like a private retreat than a typical resort. The villas are spacious, beautiful, and impeccably maintained, with a tropical garden around them and the beach right there. It was all calm and private, and New Year’s was magical, elegant, and unforgettable. Heinz and Khanita were warm, attentive hosts who made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. Their care and attention to detail really set the place apart, and the service stayed outstanding throughout. Malie Eatery across the street deserves a special mention. It’s a must-visit, with some of the best Thai food on the island. A true gem on Koh Samui. We’d return without hesitation.

You can step straight from this beautifully furnished apartment and pool area onto a great beach. The landscaping is so lush it feels like a jungle, but there’s a sidewalk running through it.

The beach is lovely, and there’s a large, clean pool. The villas are older, but the apartment we stayed in was newer and more modern.

Having a convenience store right next door was handy, and local restaurants were close enough to walk to. I loved this property right on the main road.
