We loved the thoughtful design and generous space in our garden deluxe cottage. It felt like very good value, and the staff made our three nights especially easy. We were travelling with a toddler, and they were kind enough to keep our little one entertained whenever they could. @Samui haus is a small boutique resort on the quiet stretch of Lipa noi beach, which already feels more secluded than many places on Samui. It suited us well when we wanted a break from the busier, more touristy parts of the island. There are some good restaurants along the road, with Thai food and a few international choices. Getting around takes a little planning. Taxis to Nathon pier and the ferries were easy to find, reasonably priced by island standards, and took about 12-15 minutes. If you want to explore more or go out often, a scooter is useful since other parts of koh Samui get rush-hour traffic. There are fewer scooter options around here, so it’s a good idea to arrange one ahead of time.

The bungalow right on the beach was such a relaxing place to stay, and the beach itself is beautiful. This part of the island has a laid-back feel, with friendly staff and good food at the hotel. I enjoyed it enough to add two extra nights. Also loved having the French bulldogs and tortoises around the property.

Lipa Noi is a lovely, quiet beach, and we spent several days simply watching the surf without crowds of tourists around. The hotel’s location is the real draw. We rented a villa with its own veranda and plunge pool, which was very nice, and ate at the hotel bar and restaurant quite often. The food was pretty good. The owners’ friendly dogs were a welcome comfort since we missed our dog back home. A few room basics could use attention: the sheets, towels, and pillows felt due for a refresh, and there was no hand soap at the bathroom sink. We had to pick some up at 7-11.

The sound of the waves was so soothing, and I’d definitely suggest booking a sea-view room. Everything was better than we expected, from the pool and seaside massage to the warm, welcoming staff. Our room was very clean, spacious, and had lots of useful amenities. Thanks for a great stay.

So, so good 😎 The staff made us feel like family, and the beachfront restaurant served amazing food at reasonable prices. Having direct access to the beach was great. The rooms had all the essentials, and the whole place was full of Westerners. I could go on and on...
