Santiburi Koh Samui Hotel

We stayed in the reserve pool villa, which was very comfortable, and the spa was very good too. We booked a five-hour package, split into two 1.5-hour massages and two one-hour massages. The restaurants had excellent food and a good selection. The flowering gardens, carefully kept beachfront, and great service all around made this one of the best resorts I’ve ever visited.

The staff are what made our stay unforgettable, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The gardens are beautiful and give the whole resort a peaceful feel. Our charming villa was so serene, and waking up to those views each morning was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional, and the beach was stunning and beautifully maintained. A wonderful stay at Santiburi.

I almost skipped booking Santiburi Resort & Spa because of some negative reviews, but I’m really glad I came and saw it for myself. It was spotless, beautifully looked after, and so peaceful that I didn’t even want to leave the property. The Thai night dining restaurant deserves a shout-out, dinner there was a highlight, and the food was truly delicious. From arrival on, the staff made me feel at home, like family. They were friendly, welcoming, warm, and always smiling, whether at reception, the spa, or the dining areas. Everyone was helpful and down-to-earth. It was worth every penny, exceeded my expectations, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui. I can’t wait to come back. From room 414

I’m local, and while the place is nice and a little dated, I won’t be back for another Day Pass or recommend it to visiting friends or family. They charge a service fee, yet you have to do everything yourself. It’s absurd that they won’t serve you at the beach. This shouldn’t put you off a stay, though. The Day Pass is advertised at 1,500 baht, plus taxes and other property charges, so the total came to just under 1,800 baht. You get a 1,000 baht voucher for food, drinks, or services. When I asked for a menu, they said Day Pass guests have to go to the restaurant and order in person. I walked over and ordered a drink, but they didn’t return my pass, so I had to ask for it back. It still had a balance and also confirms your stay if staff ask. Then the bill had tax and service charges on it again.
