I love this resort and Mae Nam beach. We were here 2 years ago too, and the bathrooms have been renovated since then. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with an outdoor shower. The pool is great, and the beach is clean and quiet. Lomprayah ferries are close enough to see but far enough away that they don't get in the way of swimming. They're also within walking distance if you're taking one to another island. Breakfast is great, and there are lots of different places to sit, lounge, or sunbathe. I'll stay here again if we return to Samui.

We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay. The room with a private pool was lovely, and both the room and bathroom were huge. The shower and bath were outdoors in the garden. The gardens and setting are beautiful, and the pool area was kept very clean and tidy. We went out of high season, so it was very quiet. The staff were lovely, especially manager Lek, who looked after us so well and made us feel at home. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once because there are so many good restaurants within walking distance, but the meal we had was very good. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

We had a good 5-night stay at Saree Samui in Feb 2026, but it didn't quite live up to our expectations. The hotel has a nice, quiet beachfront spot on Maenam Beach, just 3 mins from walking street. Its green grounds have potential, and the pool is right by the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. Our room was spacious, with a private pool, and we liked the outdoor shower in the bathroom. There's a small gym, enough for light workouts. The room felt bare and old, with little decoration and not much reason to spend time there. Attention to detail was lacking, with visible upkeep problems like loose lamps and worn surfaces. Parts of the resort seemed dated and neglected. There was no seating in the outdoor areas by the rooms, so we couldn't really use those spaces. The beach and nearby areas also needed care, with old building materials, plastic, and rubbish behind the sunbeds. Breakfast was okay but dull, and had less variety than other hotels in this category. There were only two old self-service coffee machines, slow and unreliable. When it was crowded, we waited up to 15 minutes. Pool service was also slow and inattentive. Even though there was a pool menu, nobody came to ask, so we always had to seek someone out. The mix of guests didn't suit us as a family with a young child, though I don't blame the hotel for that. Most guests seemed 60+ and there were few or no children. The hotel has a good location, green grounds, and friendly staff, but in its current condition it doesn't meet 4-star standards. With better upkeep, more attention and care for the details, and improved service, it could be much better. As it stands, it feels closer to a solid 3-star hotel, and the price/performance wasn't a match.

The private pool wasn't very clean, though I wondered if it had a filter and whether it was working. Otherwise, I had a very relaxing time. The room was spacious, atmospheric, and clean, set in a beautiful garden. I especially liked having a private pool. The resort is on a quiet part of the island by a beautiful beach. The hotel has a good restaurant and a nice beach bar, and there are also lovely places to eat in the streets just outside. The staff were friendly and responded well to my questions and comments. Paradise on earth.

We booked the cooking class twice, and it added a lot to our holiday. The spa massage cost more than massages outside, but the massage ladies were very professional. The atmosphere was lovely, with the sea and birdsong in the background. Thanks to this beautiful hotel, we had one of our best holidays. We spent our annual holiday here with our now grown-up children, staying in two villas with a pool. The whole complex felt like a jungle, full of lovely plants and animals. Gardeners kept everything in order every day. It's a quiet location, with a few bars and restaurants nearby. Everyone working across the property was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the fruit jam. A chef made eggs to order every day, and the restaurant staff were nice and quick to respond to requests. We loved the restaurant manager's friendly manner.
