Thai Fight Hotel

The decor throughout is Muay Thai themed, with heavy bags and gloves in each room, and there are free classes. My daughter and I also had an awesome massage at the spa. The pool was great, and the beach is lovely at low tide. We walked to lammai beach in about 20 minutes, though the hotel has a shuttle too. Breakfast is free from 7am to 1030am and had everything. The rooms may seem small to some, but ours was just right, had fantastic amenities, and got fast turndown service. The staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. One of the best travel experiences my family and I have had. Highly recommend!

The hotel has an ideal view and is nicely located, just minutes on foot from the beach or lamai city. We spent four nights there and everything was perfect. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. All the staff were truly amazing and made our stay lovely.

The Pad Thai was the best I’ve had, and the restaurant terrace and room both have beautiful ocean views. The pool area is very nice too. But having a smoking area close to the terrace and pool is a huge drawback. It’s impossible to enjoy a meal, a drink, or some time by the pool without someone lighting up. Absolutely disgusting. This should be stopped because it spoils an otherwise wonderful experience.

The rooms are modern, well designed, and a good size, with a thoughtful layout. Front desk and housekeeping staff were generally friendly and did their best. Unfortunately, those were the only real positives, and they’re outweighed by the problems. The listing badly misrepresented the construction. The hotel says there may be “some disturbance,” but what we experienced was very loud, heavy work for around eight hours a day. We were put in a ground floor room facing the site, with workers less than 30 feet away. The “green field / sea view” in the photos was actually a construction pit, scaffolding, machinery, and workers at eye level. The photos don’t honestly show what room you might get. The noise was constant, with drilling, trucks, and machinery. Work started as early as 7am, despite the hotel claiming a later start, and it woke us every day of our holiday. We had to keep the curtains shut the whole stay because workers could see straight in. Imagine booking a “beach view” hotel and sitting in the dark just to feel comfortable lol. Management was the most disappointing part. They were dismissive and defensive, and repeatedly lied to downplay or deny what was happening. They offered no meaningful solution, goodwill gesture, or accountability. Only after we kept chasing did they offer us a room in the same block, a few floors higher, for our final night, as if that could undo days of disruption lol. The hotel seems to rely on carefully worded disclaimers and curated reviews from guests in the other block, overlooking the pool, to avoid responsibility. The building is stylish and the rooms look good, but that doesn’t help when rest, privacy, and honesty are missing. Don’t rely on the photos or assume construction is a minor issue. Ask exactly where your room will be, and if they can’t guarantee you’ll be nowhere near the site, book elsewhere. A holiday shouldn’t mean arguing with management, keeping the curtains closed all day, or being woken by construction. We deeply regret staying here.
