The Jungle Club

The food was the reason I'd come back. We had Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong soup, and spring rolls, all of which were really good. Mango sticky rice for dessert was amazing too. In the evening the view is stunning. It's quite a touristy place, and the ride up is a little steep, but two of us managed easily on a scooter. We paid 1,500 baht in total.

Book ahead if you can, since you aren't guaranteed a seat. We waited only a short time and had drinks on a lounger until a table opened up. The food was great and the price was good. The menu leans more Thai than Western, and the prices are fair for such a popular location. There are a couple of park-and-collect spots on the road up. Parts of the road are very steep, so it may not suit anyone who isn't confident driving or riding.

The view from the restaurant was fantastic, and we had a great visit. The salad was especially fresh and tasty, and we enjoyed the food overall. The menu has a good range without being too extensive. Make sure to use the pickup point instead of trying to ride your scooter up. The ride up and back is 50 ฿ per person, which is more than fair.

The views are stunning! I only took a day trip to Koh Samui, and this place was a must. I ordered a soft shell crap wrap with mango, avocado, hummus, and lime kefir, and it was the best wrap I've ever had. Wow, I still think about it. The panacotta pudding was really good too, and the drinks were quite nice. There's a time limit: if you only order drinks, you can stay for an hour; with food, it's two hours. I understand that this helps keep people moving at such a popular spot. Come for the viewpoint and great food if you want some good pictures.
