We told John this was the best stay of our lives, and we still feel that way. We spent nine days at Tropical Season and enjoyed every moment. The villa was in great condition, with tasteful decor and lots of attention to detail. It had a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, and a lovely bedroom, but the terrace and pool were the highlights. The private pool is surrounded by jungle, and you can hear birds and crickets all night. It's a wonderful spot if you want peace and love nature. It may not suit you if you're looking for nightlife or lots of people around. The main road is about 1.5 km away, so a scooter or preferably a car is needed. John and the staff helped us with everything we needed. John booked us a great massage and shared some really good food recommendations. Thanks again, and we hope to see you soon!

The care here really shows. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the host even lent us his own scooter when we didn't have one. He also sorted out advice for our return trip, including a taxi, ferry and another taxi to the airport, and was quick and friendly whenever we called with questions. His restaurant tips were great too. The villa is beautiful, tastefully furnished and very well kept. We felt at home and properly looked after, and would love to come back to Tropical Season Villa.

John, the butler, deserves a special thank you. He's easygoing and will do whatever he can to make the trip enjoyable. The villas have lovely beds, a great pool, privacy, everything you need, and a view that makes it easy to relax. We stayed with our two girls, aged 15 and 10, for my wife's 50th birthday. We saw the whole island and liked the location. It's not the spot for people in their 20s looking to party, but a short Grab ride gets you to livelier places and then you can return to somewhere peaceful. Fisherman's village is nearby and has a nice feel at night. People online don't seem to rate Maenam, but after seeing Silver beach and Coral cove, both covered in rubbish, we thought Maenam was better. Our favorite beach was Lipa noi. I arrived stressed and feeling unwell, but by checkout I felt great. The relaxed atmosphere helped a lot.

We were especially glad to have this quiet place during our November visit, when we hardly got any sunshine. The porch pool, peaceful living room and kitchen made it a real little treasure to come back to each day. The rooms were furnished and decorated with such taste, and had all the amenities we needed. John made sure we had what we needed, and his little bird came by every day to entertain us. We became friends with it. The resort is away from the crowds, yet it still feels like you can have everything. This stay will stay in our memories.

John was a lovely host and gave us great recommendations. The villa was just right for us, and we couldn't have asked for a better place in Koh Samui. We'd definitely like to return when we're in Thailand.
