The scooters were good quality, and I rented one here twice. On my first hire, which cost 250Bt, there was no gasoline, so I waited 30 minutes at the station. I returned it after half a day with the tank half full. Three days later, I hired another for just a couple of hours to go to the beach, and they charged me 300Bt because there was gasoline in it. I felt scammed, since I'd left half a tank in the first bike and then paid extra on the last day for only a short rental. Altogether I had the bike for less than 24 hours but paid 500Bt. They require a passport as a deposit.

The staff were great and very helpful. My stay included a shuttle to and from the pier when I arrived and left the island.

Housekeeping was excellent, with the room cleaned every day. There was a shuttle and scooter rental, though the 10,000 Baht deposit felt far too high. Reception also shuts at 6 PM, which was inconvenient. One evening there was a Tokay gecko in our room, but someone came to help remove it. Opening the door brought in lots of mosquitoes. The bigger problem was the humidity: everything felt damp and started getting moldy, the old bathroom smelled strongly of mold, and our belongings stayed wet instead of drying properly. The WIFI barely worked, constantly connecting and disconnecting. At this price, that wasn't acceptable, and with the serious moisture and mold issues I wouldn't stay here again.

The location was handy for walking to Sairee, with restaurants, weed shops, pharmacies, hair salons, and money exchange just outside. The beach was about a 10-minute walk away. For me, though, the area was still too hectic and full of 20-year old backpackers. We weren't there to party, and I should've chosen somewhere more remote and quiet. I spent two weeks here. The grounds were lovely, with plenty of trees and flowers, but the pool needed maintenance: its vinyl lining was coming loose, and there weren't enough places to sit and lounge nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious, with lots of storage. We liked the balcony, and fresh water and towels arrived each day. My friend and I found the beds quite hard, and the rooms weren't very soundproof. We heard the Muy thai boxers every morning at 8:30 am, and a few times the taxi pickup for the Jungle Party behind our room was noisy around 11 pm, though it didn't ruin our stay. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They handled laundry efficiently, rented scooters at fair prices, booked my ferry back to the mainland, and quickly brought an extra fan when I asked. Diving was why I booked, but they no longer offered it directly. They seemed to rent their pool to another company, and the front desk said they didn't do dive bookings anymore and sent us there instead. We ended up diving with Big Blue Diving, which I highly recommend. My stay was good overall, but those things were disappointing.
