Aukotan Place Hotel

The reception lady was incredibly kind and sorted out every issue in seconds. Our room at Aukotan place was spacious and clean, with a comfy bed. It's a little out from the town centre, but there are plenty of restaurants and nice beaches within walking distance. They rent scooters and offer a free shuttle to and from the pier. I'd happily stay here again.

The bathroom was the worst part of our stay. It smelled, and the shower barely worked, with very low pressure. We stayed just two nights and managed, but I think it would have been a problem for longer. The hotel itself is looking a bit tired. The rooms are fairly large, and the futon-style mattress was a little hard, though that's common across Thailand.

The free hotel shuttle was great. The rooms were big, cool, and comfortable, and the beds were large and comfy too. Really nice place, would recommend :)

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was enough for us. There's also a supermarket with a good selection right beside the hotel, and several good restaurants within walking distance. Aukotan Place worked well as a base for visiting nearby beaches. We were glad to find a room here when the island was fully booked. The transfer to and from the pier was free and, most importantly, on time. The hotel scooter rental was first-class. Our room was large, spacious, and clean, with a fridge and safe. The balcony was small, but we knew that in advance. The complex can be quite noisy, especially when some guests have trouble closing their doors. 🤬🤣🤣👍🙏😊
