UD Residence

A clean place with basic but satisfactory facilities, and a good choice for one night downtown near UD market. The market has good food and a wide variety of things in the evening. The security officer was very helpful in finding parking late at night. The housekeeper was noisy early in the morning, though, so this isn't a place for anyone wanting to sleep past 7:30am.

Fine for a night or two. The shower room is a good size, and the hard bed was still comfortable. But my room looked very dated and worn, and needs renovating. There's no kettle in the room, you have to go downstairs. With some work, this could be a really good place.

Good value for money, with a very basic room that has what you need. The location is fantastic: Central, The railway station, UD Town, the bars, restaurants, and a 7-11 opposite are all within walking distance. The rooms at the back are quiet. If you want your room cleaned, you need to ask in the morning. There's a 200 Baht key deposit.

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and honest. For such a low price, the room was as expected: a little shabby and dated, but clean, with everything working. Great location, and parking for a limited number of cars.
