The beach bungalow has an amazing view, and we loved the hammock. We were also grateful they let us check in early. The location is great for snorkeling, and the views are lovely, but the bungalow is really only for someone happy with very basic backpacker accommodation. The room had a large, decent bed and the AC worked well, but it was extremely basic. The shower and toilet aren’t separated, so the whole bathroom gets wet. Breakfast was a simple menu choice rather than a buffet, and the Wi-Fi was very slow. We stayed one night, and I can’t imagine staying longer if you need basic comforts. They also didn’t respond about transport, so we had to arrange it ourselves from the pier.

We’ve been coming back for several years, and they always greet us with a smile. The food and cocktails are the best on the beach, and cost less than elsewhere. Breakfast is excellent too. The beachfront setting and the upstairs terrace are beautiful at lunchtime and in the evening.

We stayed with our two small kids in the large three-bedroom room right on the beach. It felt luxurious, and all the glass gave us amazing views. The place is great for snorkeling, and the food and breakfast were very good. The staff were very friendly, which made up for a few worn spots in the restaurant and beachfront area. There’s no swimming pool, though you can use the one at Buddha view diving, so we didn’t miss having one much. Our fridge was very noisy, so I moved it into the enormous bathroom.

It’s a lovely place to spend the day, in a stunning spot on Tanote bay, right across from the big rock people dive off. Our room was roomy and comfortable, and we slept well. The bathroom seemed oddly oversized to me, but the shower was great. The restaurant menu was only in English. I’ve been in Thailand long enough to know some dishes better by their Thai names, so my Thai friend and I had to puzzle out which dish was which from the English descriptions.

The staff were fantastic, and our deluxe triple was big and comfortable. It’s a very quiet hotel, which suited us for our two-night stay. Snorkeling was fab, and they rent snorkels and masks for 100 baht a day. The restaurant food was great too. We had a brilliant stay.
