Tree House Bungalows

Treehouse bungalows was our first stop in southern Thailand after travelling through the busy cities up north. It was the first place where life slowed down a bit, which is rare for me. The team are genuine, welcoming and always ready to answer questions or suggest things to do in Koh Tao. The food was banging, with so many choices and a chance to get out of the usual routine of eating the same things all trip. Yok and her team are doing a great job in the kitchen. And Neals coconut ice cream has to be the best we had in Thailand. The rooms are clean and relaxed, the beds super comfy, and morning coffee in the hammocks hits different. It became a highlight of our trip and felt like home. Couldn’t recommend it enough. All the best to the team.

The views from the spotless, comfortable bungalows made waking up a joy, and the location was just right, near two beautiful beaches with fantastic snorkeling. I planned to stay nearly a week, then extended because I was having such a wonderful time. The staff were kind, gracious and always helpful, and the manager was especially friendly and accommodating. They even helped me rent a bike so I could get around easily. An unforgettable stay at Treehouse Bungalows Koh Tao, highly recommended!

The manager and staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good. The service and atmosphere feel five-star. Our bungalow was close to the road, though, so we heard traffic. These are bungalows, so don't expect a top-end hotel room, and a few could use a little care.

The balcony view was stunning, and the area around the property was pleasant. When we raised the room problems, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, arranged a refund, and we stayed somewhere else. We'd booked a “superior suite,” but the room quality let us down: the air-conditioning didn't work and leaked onto the floor, the bathroom looked mouldy, the room didn't feel clean, and the sliding balcony door wouldn't shut or lock properly. The high ratings had set our expectations higher.
