I came for two nights, then added four more. The owner, who’s Thai and goes by “Bill,” is super friendly and always smiling. He has five or six motorbikes in a garage that he works on himself. It looks like a showroom, impeccable, and he rents bikes in great condition for 200B a day. The bed was super comfortable, the room was cleaned daily, and the shower was decent. There was also a TV I didn’t use, a fridge, and a kettle. Everyone leaves their shoes outside, and the floors inside are CLEAN. It’s two minutes down the street to 711, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. I like guesthouses and homestays because I want to give back to locals who share their paradise with us.

An excellent spot on Koh Tao. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts you need, including air conditioning. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s within walking distance of the beach and bars, but far enough away to avoid the noise.

The room was small but comfortable, with everything looking new and the floor squeaky clean. Restaurants and shops are quite close, and the owner was really kind and polite. Great stay, definitely recommended. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

DO NOT hire a bike from this guy. We rented one for three days. He closes at 5 pm and said we could return it for free at 8 am the next day when he opened. We brought it back at 7:50, but he claimed we owed a late drop-off fee. He was incredibly rude and threatened to call the police, and in the end we had to pay extra. We’d even spoken to him the night before and offered to return the bike then. He confirmed we wouldn’t be charged extra, but then went back on his word. If you’re thinking of staying at his guesthouse, I’d reconsider and stay at the life resort next door instead. It’s a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. EDIT: To the owner’s response: 1. When we saw you in the evening, we said we thought you’d said we could return the bike in the morning. We offered to bring it back then, but you changed your mind and said you remembered, and that we could keep it until morning. 2. We didn’t snatch a “rental file” from you. We don’t even know what that is. 3. Your claim that our hotel complained about us is very wrong. We loved our stay at “life resort koh tao,” and everyone there was very pleasant. Feel free to check the review I left for them. 4. You seemed so friendly when we hired the bike, but your true self showed when we returned it. Your reply to this review is a true reflection of your character.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were clean, and the host was genuinely happy to help and look after his guests. Great location, with some amazing restaurants down the street.
